I am a professional writer/editor who’s been writing and editing since 2003. I have a background in business communications, with a strong emphasis on strategy, and have a very deep understanding of my writing tools and how to use them effectively. I have been a freelancer for over a decade.
The idea of writing from scratch for a living is one that I can really enjoy. I love writing from scratch, and in my spare time I use it all the time.
This is a subject I often find myself in. It’s interesting to see how different people see their writing skills, and how different their own lives are. When I started out I was so bad that I was barely making a living. But now I’ve got a business to run, a house to fix, and a baby to feed. I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m not sure if I’ve ever been happier.
When I started out writing I was writing to be myself, but sometimes I can’t get that much of a picture in my mind because of my own experiences. In the beginning I was more focused on the writing process than I am now so I just got the job and started writing. Now Ive got a career, but I still have a lot to learn. I have some great tips for writing for my future readers.
If we’d like to keep up with the world, then we’d like to keep our content running, but that would be a bad idea if we couldn’t keep it down. Instead we write for the world, so we could continue to be a good writer. Maybe you like to think of yourself as the writer… don’t ever think of yourself as something you write for the world.
It’s true that most of our writing is for the world, but it’s also true that most of our writing is for us, and vice versa. I’m sure it’s much easier to write a story for your sister or your mom or your spouse, but it’s a lot harder to write for yourself. That’s why I love writing, because when I write for myself I get to write about myself.
